APEX (Period 9)

Course Description

Apex Learning is an online program that is designed to assist with credit recovery. The APEX Program provides digital curriculum developed specifically to maximize student learning. The program is done completely online, and students participating in the program will be able to work at Ruben Salazar High School during scheduled class times M-Th (Per. 1 and Per. 7) and after school. It may be also assigned as homework.  Working at home during evenings and weekends are highly encouraged especially to maximize the amount of credits earned.

Each student will be working on classes based on need towards graduation. Course work will range between 55 to 60 hours and will include various assessments such as quizzes and tests. Due to the popularity, success, and importance of the Apex Learning, it is very important that your child attends class on time and takes advantage of the computer time they have.

If you wish to sign up for APEX during the day (Per. 1 or Per. 7), see Ms. Draper so she can put APEX in your schedule.   If you would like to be in APEX after school, see Mr. Gonzalez in Rm. 23 after school.
